This Privacy Policy describes how the experiMe™ mobile application, protects your personal information when you use the mobile application, all related products and services (collectively, the “Service”.) In-Depth Genomics, LLC is the owner of the mobile application and is located at 9350 NE 30th Street, Clyde Hill, WA 98004. All references to experiMe include its affiliates involved in providing the Service. All references to you include your Authorized Individuals, if any.


The experiMe team is committed to respecting the privacy rights of visitors and users of its mobile application experiMe and website


Your use of experiMe mobile application or your provision to us of any personal information constitutes your agreement to the privacy terms contained herein and any subsequent changes we may make to these terms. Please do not use the mobile application or provide information if you do not agree with all of the terms contained in this policy or our TERMS OF USE POLICY.




1.1. What Basic Information does experiMe collect?

In operating the mobile application experiMe may include registration by First Name, Year of Birth, e-mail address, City of Residency and Gender.


1.2. Automatic Collection.
Our servers automatically recognize visitors’ domain names and IP addresses (the number assigned to computers on the Internet). No personal information about you is revealed in this process. The mobile application may also gather anonymous “traffic data” that does not personally identify you, but may be helpful to improve the content offered through experiMe.


1.3. Optional Disclosure of Information
We receive certain information from you when you create and use an experiMe account. When you use the application, you can choose to share certain information related to your health. For example:


(i) Information about your physical activity

You can choose to share information about your physical activity, such as information about your workouts.


(ii) Information about your diet

You can choose to share information relating to your diet, such as information on food eaten and dietary habits.


(iii) Information about medical history

You can choose to share information about your medical history, diseases or history of illness in your family.





2.1. Personal Information

Personal Information means information about you that can reasonably be linked to you such as your name, health information, and other identifiers.
We will not share your personal information with any third parties without your consent, except as described in Section 2.2. Below. We may use your contact information to inform you of any changes to the mobile application or to send you additional information.


2.2. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on experiMe and affiliates, (2) to protect and defend the rights or property of users of the Service, or (3) act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of the public or users of the Service.


2.3. How experiMe uses your information
We receive this non identifying information from you for use in aggregate research and to provide Services, as well as to enhance the performance of the Services and/or create new services.




If you have granted your consent for processing certain personal data, you are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time pursuant to data protection laws. However, that right does not affect the legitimacy of the processing of data carried out before you withdraw your consent. You also enjoy other rights, such as the right to access your data, the right to have wrong or misleading information about you to be rectified, the right to have your personal data deleted, the right to restrict that your personal data will be processed, the right to object and your right to data portability.

Please note that some of your rights may be subject to certain conditions.




The Service is not intended for use by children younger than 18 years old. However, parents or guardians may elect to establish an experiMe account for their children through the Service as Authorized Individuals-Representative and, in doing so, expressly consent to experiMe utilizing such information as set forth in this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.


An Authorized Individual-Representative may authorize and/or have access to an experiMe account for a Dependent until the earlier of the date: (i) the Dependent reaches the age of 18; or (ii) the Authorized Individual-Representative is no longer the legal representative of the Dependent.





5.1. How We Protect Your Information
experiMe takes precautions, including administrative, technical and physical measures, to safeguard your personal data against loss, theft and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We store the personal data you provide encrypted on computer servers that are located in controlled facilities. We restrict access to personal data to our employees, contractors and agents who need access in order to operate, develop, or improve our services and the application.


When you enter sensitive personal data in the application we encrypt the transmission of such data using secure socket layer technology (“SSL”). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal data submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.


The safety and security of you Personal Information also depends on you. Never share your password with anyone else. Notify us promptly if you believe your password has been breached.


5.2. Security Breach Notification Requirements

Pursuant to applicable law, experiMe may be required to send you notice of security breaches or suspected security breaches that impact your Personal Information. In the unlikely event that experiMe must provide you a notice of a security breach, experiMe will send you security breach notices to the e-mail address contained in your account information unless we are otherwise required by law. Please note, many e-mail systems have built in SPAM filters. If you have on in place, you should check with your system administrator or the available instructions to confirm that e-mails from experiMe are not blocked by the filter.




experiMe reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy in its sole discretion. In such case, experiMe will send you an e-mail if or when our privacy policy changes.
